Going good so far
Well I seem to have got stuck sketching now, will be a while before I move on to other mediums ...as of now focusing on the human face..or parts of it. I think there is a story behind every face...each little mark, wrinkle.. says a story. I think the eyes convey so much but sometimes people focus on the "Windows to the soul" so much... they forget the "gates of hell"..the mouth. I call them "Gates of hell" simply because words uttered can sometimes damage so much..spew so much hatred or convey so much love...... a little turn of the mouth transforms a harsh face in a moment...so thats my focal point now...getting the mouth correct :)

Mouth study-1
This sketch unfortunately shows some indents made on paper by a previous drawing...that shows up as these ghost lines on the sketch.....:(
Ear study-1
So today I again did some more sketching practice...specifically areas of the human face, still perfecting the art of shading and blending :) Not altogether unhappy with the outcome though there are some areas I still could have blended further

Eye Study- part 1
So today is the first step in the.....right direction...I hope :)
Here is my first attempt in sketching a human eye (I hope this will get better in times to come) and I was pretty pleased with the outcome. I don't deny it still has a long way to go before I can achieve the photo realistic quality that I am aiming for...but for now this is OK with me I guess!
